This is the updated version of my Scrum Events Cheat Sheets. For the explanation of the expressions used, see the original post.

In my consulting practice I suggest Scrum Masters new to the role to use the sheets to get started. Once the Team and the Scrum Master get the hang of Scrum and has a deep enough knowledge not only about what to do but also about the whys, then I encourage the Team to experiment and find ways that are better fitting for them (this is especially true for the Retrospective). Or to approach it from the other side: Modifying Scrum before you really experienced it can very easily break it. So do the real thing and change only when you’ve gathered experience with it.
